I went through the quote process with at least 6 different movers before I settled on Royal Hawaiian movers. The biggest trouble I had with the previous 6 was a combo of too good to be true pricing (which I confirmed through research on Google) and outrageous rates for similar services. After exhausting my options I luckily stumbled upon RHM, who were able to satisfy my time constraints and coordinate everything from pick up to delivery. Pick up from my home in LA was simple and easy. Once it was on the water I kept in contact with Ronyl, who was able to coordinate my pick up 5 weeks after it hit the water. Once the lift vans got here, she scheduled a time, and the movers came! They were a bit later than they estimated, but they made up for it by gifting me with a fresh ripe pineapple as thanks for using them! The movers here were all super freindly, nice, and respectful of my furniture and took their time to move everything in. All in all, I would recommend them based on price and quality of service. Thanks again RHM for helping a brother out.

So we are unpacking our stuff from our move and they have mixed up our bedrooms. None of the screws are in our part boxes. Had to toss my daughters desk chair. They crammed a $300 leather purse into the bottom of a heavy box. Boxes we had previously packed of things we didn't want mixed up from our kids rooms they unpacked and repacked just to mix up our items. I was up front on telling the movers when they came to pack our items I didn't want rooms items mixed up and I wanted boxes labeled with what is in them. Also not to mention boxes so filled with paper that they are 80% paper. I have a few more boxes to go through but hoping I still find a few handbags I haven't seen yet. I have unpacked the last few boxes I had and my SID Harvey's Sink or Swim handbag is gone. I called Royal Hawaiian movers and so far they are denying the movers took it. Also asked me how do I know they stole it? Did I see them take it? I had like 20 people in and out of my house that day. I told the lady they where the only people in my closet and when I packed up all my handbags they unpacked all of them and then repacked them. They where the last people to touch my items and now my favorite handbag which cannot be replaced is gone. It's a collectible item designed by a famous tattoo artist. Not to mention it had a Samantha Thavasa Sailor bear on it that's gone also. Ladies watch your handbags!

Whenever I hear a friend say "I'm moving", thoughts of me doing sweaty manual labor for a few days pop up in my mind. This time when I told my girlfriends that I was moving, offers flew to help pack up, and when I declined, looks of relief popped up on their faces. Royal Hawaiian Movers took care of everything for me, and on moving day I literally sat on my couch, ate a pizza, and watched TV while they did everything. When I found out that our corporate relocation services company had selected Royal Hawaiian Movers, I immediately Yelped it. Accckkkkck! It didn't look so good with all those one and two star reviews, there were so many of them!!! But a lot of them are from a while back and this company is the exclusive approved vendor for moving/packing in Hawaii for my husbands company so, they couldn't be that bad.right?!.I was right! I've done two major moves before from Hawaii all the way to the East coast, and this one was the easiest because of Royal Hawaiian Movers. Today I received everything and not one glass or dish was broken, our items are intact and everything I laundered before it was packed still smells fresh! This team has got mad packing skills because our stuff traveled a little over 6000 miles by boat from HNL to LA, LA to Miami via truck then Miami to USVI by boat again. Nothing was damaged or missing and I was expecting half of our stuff to fall into one of the oceans or arrive like puzzle pieces in a puzzle box. The "walk through" with Mills was on time and fast. He did it in 20 minutes and you've just got to be honest with what exactly you want shipped (yes I told them I was shipping a gallon of Aloha Shoyu.hey Shoyu made outside of Hawaii tastes yucky) bring up your concerns, and ask of what packing options there are. The day the packing team came there were 3 guys, which included a supervisor. They did everything so fast (in 4 hours) and used what looked like a small rainforest worth of packing paper. Things were wrapped, cushioned with paper, sealed in a box and wrapped again. It's kind of OCD (my fur baby's bed was wrapped with 8 sheets of thick packing paper!) but, it's like the plastic seal on a Advil bottle, you'll know if someone tampered with it. The moving crew was so cool, it's totally my sucky brain that doesn't remember their names but they are all boys from my hood in Kalihi and they need raises! They were all so professional and wicked fast with moving/packing! I had made an inventory list myself for insurance purposes but they will also do one with corresponding numbers on every box/item so you can match them up when unpacking to account for everything. The unpacking movers shout out the numbers to you as they walk into your home with the item for you to check off that you got it. Easy peasy system! As far as costs go I can't tell you because we don't even know, my hubby's company covered costs. But as our household was relocated without damage and intact all the way from Hawaii to the Caribbean, we would have shelled out some serious dough to ensure this level of service! Moving shouldn't be stressful and dreaded. It should be a chillaxing time to eat pizza and watch tv like I did. Let Royal Hawaiian Movers make that happen for you! ;)

I am incredibly happy with RHM. After 7+ military moves, we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. RHM are the best movers/ Packers we have had. Kristian, Justice and Rory (?) Were efficient, wrapped everything well, and cleaned up after themselves. They were very thankful for lunch and respectful the entire day. Mills, our salesman, was outstanding as well. Our estimate was within $300 of the actual cost and the communication has been wonderful.

I moved 20 ft container of new furniture from mainland to Kilauea HI. My delivery was scheduled to arrive around 9-9.30. Truck showed up at 9.05. The guys working were very professional - took great care of my boxes but were also very careful in my house. They put everything together, cleaned up and through it all had a great attitude. Not easy since they were working from 9 till 6 pm. I was amazed at how quickly they worked and how smooth the whole delivery went. Best experience so far. Thank you Royal Hawaiiian crew. I will use them again. My friends also commented on the great service they received using them for moving new furniture.
